Our Programs are the heartbeat of Community Art Collaborative

There’s something for everyone because we’re in this together.

Our Programs

How it works

  • The Blueprint

Each project produces a unique piece reflecting a collaborative effort from all involved. This process begins first by developing a consensus around the scope of the project including the number of participants, budget, and desired themes around content.

Once this is established, our artists and educators would then create a custom program that combines our artistic practices with your educational and cultural objectives.

Thirdly, a CAC facilitator will guide you and your group towards a collective artistic expression. These individual artifacts or contributions will ultimately serve as building blocks for a CAC signature display.

Lastly, CAC will lead the display's design, creation, and installation.

  • Phase 1: Community Collaboration

Have a community-led conversation exchanging educational, cultural, and artistic matters.

  • Phase 2: Design, Build & Install

Curate community-specific artifacts to create a CAC signature display of art.

What’s inspiring about Community Art Collaborative’s mission and vision is actually how simple it is: heal community members through storytelling and art that reminds them and the broader public of their power. It’s been an honor to witness the growth of this program and exciting to partner in bringing it to more contexts across Greater Boston and beyond.
