Jessie Fries
My name is Jessie Fries and I am a freelance artist-painter & free-spirited creator. Within my body of work, my subject matter may vary from flowers, birds, nature, sunsets, and moonrises to creatures, aliens, and abstract figures. In my paintings and drawings, I blend bold colorful acrylics, striking pastel colors, moody charcoals, funky inks, and earthly watercolor hues depending on my creative mood and where studio time takes me on any given day. I am a self-taught artist, the learning process simple, trial and error, and hopefully, succeed. My conviction is to put forth my very best efforts in everything I create. It is my philosophy that art provides us an aesthetic appreciation for our world. I feel art should smile upon everything. For this reason, I create daily and count my blessings that I am doing something which I truly love.
