B.I.D. Honeycomb Display
Mar 8
Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital - Plymouth
The Community Art Collaborative (CAC), The Plymouth Bay Cultural District, The Jordan Hospital Club with in-kind support from The Plymouth Center for the Arts are proud to support our local artists in the creation of honeycomb-shaped art that will be displayed at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital - Plymouth (BID-Plymouth). The project is designed to acknowledge, thank and cheer on front-line hospital staff and essential workers as they continue to work tirelessly to care for our community during the course of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Inclusion is a core foundational value of the Community Art Collaborative. The CAC believes art is for everyone and can and should be created by everyone. A special segment of this project will be to invite BID-Plymouth staff, nurses and doctors to help contribute to the installation and share their own honeycomb art and visualize their experience from the past year. These individual honeycombs will be assembled together creating a final piece of art that will be installed and kept to commemorate the extraordinary efforts of our medical community, alongside the tribute to the medical community from local area artists. Follow us on Instagram to see the art as it is created.
